The undead collection will see 10 historical figures and coin designs fall victim to the zombie apocalypse. Rounds are released every three months through 2015 and are produced by the Provident Mint in silver and copper bullion and proof versions. Prepare for the apocalypse and fight the bite with Zombucks!
These two recent picks up I've added to my collection, I do hope to be able to get the rest and complete the set.
The Morgue Anne and the ZomBuff,
One cool thing about the Morgue Anne I picked up is it is a Mint Error. It is struck in 1oz .999 silver but was struck with .999 Fine copper wording. I don't know how many were minted with this error but it is really cool to have one as part of the collection.
Celebrate 70 Years of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang with the APMEXclusive® Peanuts 70th Anniversary 1 oz Silver rounds. Each features Charlie Brown himself along with the Peanuts 70th Anniversary logo.
Contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver
Limited mintage of 7,000 rounds
Obverse: Depicts an officially licensed image of Charlie Brown standing with arm extended next to the official Peanuts 70th Anniversary logo with Snoopy laying on top
Reverse: Displays the officially licensed Peanuts logo along with the following characters from left to right: Pig-Pen, Schroeder, Franklin, Woodstock, Sally Brown, Charlie Brown, Lucy Van Pelt, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie
The Goldback is the world’s first voluntary, complementary currency to be made of a spendable, beautiful, small denomination, physical gold.
I found out about the Goldbacks a couple months ago and after doing some reading on them I have to add these to my collection. The set pictured is the first series known as the Utah Goldback, There is currently also a set for Nevada and A New Hampshire set is coming soon. While I am primarily a silver collector/stacker I think this is a neat way to own some gold without a huge investment up front. The beautiful artwork just adds to the collectability of these notes and whether you plan on getting them to barter for items or to collect, These are hands down some of the best looking small denomination physical gold items to have.
From their site: Goal of the Goldback
We are working to make it possible for an anyone to have a choice on whether or not they want their regular spending money to be subject to inflation. The Goldback is meant to be the best physical complementary currency for retaining value. Our goal is for people to be able to pay for anything with the Goldback whether it is a new home or a lemonade. Each Goldback is at least valued at the current rate on Goldback.com by businesses.
You can find more info about the Goldback at their site.
Donated to Silver Seekers 3rd Anniversary stream back on Oct 3rd and here are the donation gifts that I got, The Australia Dragon Bar was an auction win that I bid on separately. Along with this I got a 40% Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar and then also had gotten a 2020 P+D Kennedy Half which are NIFC's. Over all a fantastic stream.
You can find more info about Silver Seekers stream on his site.
Starting in 1967 the Krugerrand was minted to help market South African gold and was produced by the Rand Refinery and the South African Mint and starting in 2017 they issued it's first-ever silver Krugerrand. It's popularity led to the coin being offered annually starting in 2018. This example is my first Krugrerand in my collection and is an NGC Slabbed and Graded MS70 with the First Day of Issue moniker. The face of the coin depicts a springbok which is the national animal of South Africa and the obverse bares the face of Paul Kruger who was a four term president of the old South African Republic
It's been a couple weeks since posting about the Stacker Soap that we got from Etsy, I've been using this soap daily in the kitchen and bathroom and I have finally used up the soap enough to pull the silver out. We got some really cool hand poured designs to check out. I had ordered 4 bars (2 skull designs and 2 Howling Wolves) I ended up getting bars for the wolves and then 1 skull bar and 1 skull round. Stop by HaySeed Revelry on Etsy to check them out!
Wanted to share this cool product that we found recently, I originally saw this on Spegtacular's channel on Youtube so I decide to check it out. Rob at Hayseed Reverly on Etsy is creating "Stacker Soap" these are large soap bars that have hand poured silver treasure embedded inside. Right now at the time of this post he is offering 3 colors (Red, Blue, Green) with two designs on the soap (Skull and Cross Bones and Hearts) and then your choice of treasure (Howling Wolves, Hearts, Skulls) and then the weight/size of the silver in side. (1/4 ozt, 1/2ozt or 1ozt)
We purchased 4 1ozt bars, 2 green and 2 blue. We ordered on April 9th and they were delivered April 16th. I went with The Howling Wolves and the Skull treasure option. At this time I have 2 bars open for the kitchen and bathroom and we are using these waiting for that sweet sweet treasure to be exposed! This would be a great addition to any collector especially one with a family, Get your kids to wash their hands more frequently and then after some time they will have a cool piece of treasure to collect.
Check Out Rob's page on Etsy and stay tuned! I will update the site with pictures and a reveal video once the bar is worn down enough to check out the treasure inside.
